One of the most intriguing things about mobile marketing today is the broad level of functionality. And of course each area of usage opens opportunities for expanded app development. From driving directions to finding the nearest Thai restaurant or local beauty salon, increasingly we go to the app for that.
How can you afford to ignore SMS text messaging, gaming, video. photos, music, web development, e-commerce, social media, advertising, education courses, books, magazines and television applications on your phone?
If you're like most of us you can't. The mobile device now joins us in the bed and the bathroom. Who knew?
Back-in-the-day cell phones were all about "talking" and maybe "texting". Of course the iPhone in 2007 is now officially recognized as "revolutionary". It's hard to remember that it was once "cool" to have a BlackBerry or even a Palm.
As cable providers like Comcast and other major players recognized the smartphone and the app capability as the communication window of the future we've all been introduced to a faster, cheaper and more portable world.
There are no signs of app development for mobile slowing down. The marketing and entrepreneurial efforts are growing around the globe. In addition industry specific apps from retail to health to manufacturing create an growing stream of potential customers and markets.
